Leila embodies determination both on the court and in driving change. With a background in advocacy, community organising, governance, and strategic communications, she aims to leverage her skills to bolster QSA's impactful work.
With a background in community services her experience is integral to ensure QSA is accessible for everyone.
Bindy is a passionate QSA member and founding player from 2015. Her passion for detail and accounting is an asset to the club.
Digital Content Manager & Board member
Laura is our go to for everything marketing & design related. Laura brings a wealth of real world experience from the industry to the club.
Lee is another original player from 2015. Ask to see her rainbow logo tattoo! Lee has extensive experience in advocacy and social activism.
Alicia's knowledge from her work as a mediator with the Equal Opportunity & Human Rights Commission is a valuable addition to the club. We can't wait to see her back on the court on the Peninsula!
Indigenous & Social Engagement Manager
Court is a proud Butchulla and Gubbi Gubbi woman from QLD. She will lead the way for the club to engage more First Nations bballers.
KJ is a life-long basketball enthusiast and uses their background in community services to facilitate weekly training sessions for nipaluna players.
Dhiren is a sports enthusiast and community services student. They hope to create inclusive places for LGBTQIA+ people across different sports.
Strategic Engagement Lead
Alex is an early supporter of the club and will use his experience in the community sport and not-for-profit sectors to support the growth of our strategy and outcomes measurement.
Lisa has a passion for numbers and analytics. She believes that numbers tell a story and then a story can be presented. Lisa brings with her a wealth of financial acumen and experience in international business.
